Wow, let's give a big round of applause to Mary Reinhart of Perry Township! She has been selected as the Shoemakersville Area Lions Club's 2024 Citizen Of The Year! Congratulations, Mary! You truly deserve this recognition for your continued outstanding contributions to the community!
Mary Reinhart was unanimously selected for this award due to her numerous works of volunteerism, support, and philanthropic contributions to our community. She has dedicated her lifetime to serving many local service organizations, including the Lions Club, The Berks County Animal Rescue League, St Mary's R.C Church, BSA Scout Troop 163 in Shoey, The Shoemakersville Fire Company, and many others. Mary is the daughter of Tom Schaeffer, of Tom Schaeffer's RV Superstore on Route 61 in Shoey, and is married to Kevin Reinhart, who is also no stranger to volunteerism, having served as the treasurer of the Perry Township Athletic Association.
Mary's father Tom Schaeffer had a favorite saying, "IT'S NICE TO BE NICE"
Mary is the true definition of what it means to be nice!
