Did you ever wonder who decorates the utility poles in Shoemakersville every Christmas season? Well, you can stop wondering! For 45+ years, the members of the Shoemakersville Area Lions Club have been brightening the Christmas season by maintaining, repairing and installing the Christmas lights throughout Shoemakersville Borough!

Such a herculean task would not be possible without assistance from our community partners, such as Justin Wall from Wiring By Wall on Main Street. Justin has generously provided the bucket truck needed along with the skillful hands of Borough Council President, Chris Kline to do the installs safely!
